Policies.
our Policies
Dragon’s Breath Gaming aims to provide a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for all participants. Our policies help ensure that sessions are fair, comfortable, and clearly understood by participants, families, carers, and support coordinators.
Privacy Policy
We respect the privacy of all participants and families.
Any personal information shared with Dragon’s Breath Gaming will only be used for purposes related to bookings, communication, safety, invoicing, and providing suitable sessions.
We will not share personal information with others unless:
permission has been given
it is required for safety reasons
it is required by law
Participant information will be handled respectfully and stored as securely as possible. Australian privacy guidance encourages businesses to minimize the personal information they collect and to make privacy practices clear to customers.
Cancellation / refund policy
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the session may receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 24–48 hours before the session may receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, or non-attendance without notice, may not be eligible for a refund.
For NDIS participants, cancellation terms should be confirmed as part of the booking or service agreement. The NDIS states that notice periods and cancellation periods can be part of service agreements, and the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits set conditions for claiming cancellation fees.
Code of conduct
All participants, visitors, hosts, support workers, carers, parents, and guardians are expected to treat each other with respect.
Dragon’s Breath Gaming does not accept:
bullying
harassment
discrimination
intimidation
aggressive behaviour
deliberate disruption of sessions
unsafe behaviour toward people, property, or equipment
Participants are expected to follow reasonable instructions from the session host so the game can remain safe, fair, and enjoyable for everyone.
This approach reflects the NDIS Code of Conduct’s focus on respect, privacy, safe and competent services, honesty, and taking action on concerns that may affect quality or safety.
Safety / Respectful Behaviour Policy
Dragon’s Breath Gaming aims to create a contained, comfortable, and respectful environment.
Participants are encouraged to communicate any needs, boundaries, or concerns before or during a session. We will do our best to adapt the session where reasonable and appropriate.
The session host may pause, redirect, or end a session if behaviour becomes unsafe, disrespectful, or unsuitable for the group.
Support workers, carers, parents, or guardians may attend sessions at no additional cost.
Complaint / Feedback Process
We welcome feedback and take concerns seriously.
Participants, families, carers, support coordinators, or plan managers can contact us by phone or email to provide feedback or raise a concern.
Where possible, we will aim to:
listen respectfully
understand the issue
respond fairly
work toward a reasonable solution
If a concern relates to safety, behaviour, privacy, accessibility, or session suitability, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.
NDIS participants can also make complaints about NDIS supports and services through the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
